Building on recent successes, we have an ambitious plan to further develop and evolve our student systems (primarily SITS) to improve processes for the benefit of students and staff alike. To meet this demand we need to expand our talent here at BCU.  We are looking to attract candidates who are just starting out as well as those with significant experience in this field. As part of the Student Systems team within Registry Services, you will contribute to the development of SITS and help improve its integration with other systems used at BCU. You will be passionate about the potential of all of our systems and the data they hold, bringing technical expertise and enthusiasm to work alongside a team of like-minded individuals. Your skills will enable you to contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes, delivered through a strong customer service oriented approach, that have a real impact on individuals and the institution at large. In recent years, we have developed a reputation for being at the forefront of activities relating to the use of student systems in Higher Education. This is a fantastic opportunity to further innovate and ensure practices are leading within our field. Registry Services As Registry Services, we have overall responsibility for the student record, as well as the maintenance and continuous improvement of the systems that store it. High quality systems result in high data quality, which is a key component of our mission. We work with faculties and professional services departments to support processes relating to the entire student journey, from application to award and graduation, and act as a source of advice on how those processes can be improved through the use and development of our student systems. Please upload a CV and covering letter/expression of interest as part of your application for this role.  *the role is being offered at two entry points depending on candidates’ skills and experience: 1.      At junior level (from £26,343 to £28,633 pa), suitable for candidates with exposure to SITS and/or technical aptitudes for SITS development and who are looking to progress into a development role or have limited development experience to date; 2.      At standard level (from £31,872 to £34,644 pa), suitable for candidates with experience in some aspects of SITS development though previous roles within HE.
