Grounds Person (M214)

Lancaster University are seeking to appoint a seasonal grounds person post to support the existing team in maintaining and improving the University campus grounds and outdoor sports facilities. 

Grounds Person Post (initial contract period Apr-Sept 2019)

Salary Grade 3 (£16,289 - £17,898) pro rata 

The individual will need to have experience of using a wide range of commercial grounds maintenance equipment and have a thorough knowledge of the practical aspects of grounds maintenance activities.

You will need to be self-motivated, have an eye for detail and take pride in you work.

Seasonal hours: average 36.5 per week, (40hrs May – July, 36.5hrs Aug – Oct, 33hrs Nov – Jan). 

You will need to be flexible in your working arrangements, and there will be a requirement for some weekend working as part of the role.
