This is an opportunity for you to develop your IT career in our Core Services Team. You will be technically and tactically involved in a wide range of operational and developmental activities of the team.
Your primary responsibilities will be to contribute to, and lead on the day-to-day operation and service improvement of core enterprise-level IT systems and services that are made up of operating system platform, infrastructure and applications. You will work on IT projects, contributing to, or acting as technical lead, in the development of new IT services and their associated infrastructure.
You will have strong documentation and communication skills, as well as significant practical experience in an IT operations and development role. You should also hold a degree in a relevant discipline or have equivalent practical experience in a Systems Administration role.
Evidence of training in logical analysis of abstract systems, problem determination and diagnosis is essential. You will have in-depth technical knowledge of systems and one or more applications e.g. Windows Server management (including patching management), Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Citrix, Lync, FIM, ADFS, Office 365, Citrix, Lync. Experience in scripting (e.g. PowerShell) and web services (e.g. Internet Information Server) would be an advantage.
