Description :

Are you passionate about physical activity? Do you have the skills and experience to create innovative opportunities for people to become more regularly active and look after their wellbeing?

The University of Leeds has a new strategy for sport and physical activity which articulates our committment to ensuring we provide opportunities for our students, staff and members of the local community to improve their health and wellbeing.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of a broad range of easily accessible, high quality opportunities to take part in physical activity and enhance wellbeing. You will play a key role in the Physical Activity, Health and Wellbeing team working to demonstrate clearly how physical activity is a central pillar in improving and supporting the mental health and wellbeing of the university community, and will deliver products, programmes and initiatives that reflect the needs of the diverse student and staff population.

Leading a diverse team of both staff and volunteers, you will take responsibility for the outdoor activities programme (Get Out, Get Active) and will be proactive in increasing the breadth of opportunities to be active on and off campus.
