Cleaner Supervisors/Teamleaders are required to provide an effective cleaning service for the University of Hull.

The post of Cleaning Supervisor will be based within the Cleaning Services Section of the Facilities Directorate, which is led by the Cleaning Services Manager. The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for providing the organisation and supervision of the cleaning service for the Student Accommodation ‘Courtyard’ on the Cottingham Road Campus and for the cleaning of the student accommodation on and off the campus.

The post holder will join a cleaning team that consists of over 80 part time staff, with 14 supervising staff and 2 full time senior supervisors.

This post will primarily be based on the Hull Campus. The purpose of the job is to ensure that all areas are cleaned to the required standards within a designated area by your cleaning team and yourself. The areas to be cleaned will range from ensuites, kitchens, open access areas, public toilets, corridors and stairways. Evidence of previous cleaning experience is desirable, but this is not essential as full training will be provided.

The postholder must be able to work individually, as part of a team, able to carry out a variety of different cleaning roles and be prepared to undertake training were necessary.
