The role will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Virgil Building reception, based at Manvers Street in the City of Bath. 

The City Receptions Co-ordinator will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive first point of contact for visitors to the Virgil Building. Your primary responsibilities include welcoming arrivals to the University of Bath's accommodation located in the City and managing access to student accommodation and to the Virgil Building. You will act as an ambassador for the University by providing a critical link between a range of professional service departments, University students, and other visitors. The City Receptions Co-ordinator will be responsible for the City Receptions Assistant directly and will offer support to the other Receptionists located on the University's main campus in Claverton Down. From time-to-time, you be required to work at either of the two accommodation receptions located on the University's campus.

The City Receptions Co-ordinator will work closely with the Receptions Team Leader and with colleagues in stakeholder departments. You will develop and maintain appropriate reception policies and procedures; this will include monitoring objectives and identifying service improvements to ensure operationally efficient teams and processes. 

A successful candidate for this role will work well under pressure, be adaptable, and be a team player. In this customer-facing role, you will be highly motivated and have a passion for delivery excellent customer service.

You will be expected to work on a 5 over 7 basis which may include morning, evening, and weekend working.
