Category: Professional/Support | Hub: Academic Engagement | Department: Partnership Development | Closing Date: 09 May 2019 |   In response to the comprehensive apprenticeship reforms over the past few years Bishop Grosseteste University is seeking an experienced Engagement Officer who will play a key role within this new area of the University. You will be responsible for the securing agreements with training providers for the delivery of End Point Assessments (EPAs) this will require high level negotiation skills and the ability to forge long term business to business relationships. You will have responsibility for recruiting high calibre, occupationally competent Independent End Point Assessor (IEPA) and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) teams.  To be successful in the role you will have a drive and determination to exceed targets.  You will build sustainable networks and direct relationships across a range of sectors that facilitate the delivery of high quality EPAs that meet sector demand.  You will have experience of engagement activities relating to work based learning and apprenticeships to support the recruitment of IEPA and IQA teams that will become part of a sustainable workforce delivering high quality EPAs.  You will be innovative and creative with excellent communication and resource management skills.  You will be experienced and dynamic whilst being resilient when faced with complex challenges often whilst under pressure. You will be proactive in developing leads and opportunities and highly astute at identifying new business opportunities. Please note this is a full time, fixed term position until 31 July 2021.
