Overview of the Role

To support the translation of research for policy in relation to the workforce and employment in the early years sector and to provide administrative support in our engagement activities.

You will be working with the research team on the Early Years Employment Hub (EYE Hub), based in the Centre for Employment Relations Innovation and Change (CERIC) at the Leeds University Business School. The core activities of the role involve identifying and facilitating opportunities to translate academic research into evidence that can inform policy development and practice and supporting the research team’s engagement activities through the APPG and the EYE Hub.

This would be an excellent role for someone who is proactive and interested in policy translation for social impact, particularly in the area of employment and/or early education. The role will be supported by experienced academics who will also support you to develop experience in impact facilitation and/or policy engagement in a research environment. You will have the opportunity to work with the research team to develop ideas for impact, engagement and dissemination, as well as working with project partners in government and the third sector.
