About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an AI solutions developer to work on a ground-breaking development project in the field of AI data science. You will be working alongside a highly respected academic team and an innovative and successful small company. KTP’s enhance your career by providing an opportunity to lead a challenging project central to a business strategic development and long-term growth. KTP’s offer a generous development budget to augment the Associate’s technical and management skills. 

The project will deliver an AI machine/deep learning-driven platform used for the rapid detection and verification of objects in dynamic environments. The project will involve exploring vision-based machine/deep learning development methodologies, automation and secure cloud application infrastructure development, and also establish a new 'development blueprint' for all future machine/deep learning based solutions. You will play a key role in the delivery of the KTP, working with all stakeholders to ensure efficiency and success. Within this your will develop the full system and user requirements for the proposed solution and design the architecture and the components of the solution. 

Our Company Partner: Business Insight 3 LTD (BI3)

The company partner on this project, where this post will be based is Business Insight 3 Ltd, www.bi3.co.uk . Established in 2009, Bi3 are experts in human, vehicle and object detection, with products and services for range of sectors including security, construction, transport, utilities and defence. This post will work within their team of specialists in business intelligence, software development, system integration and technical support services.

About You

As AI Solutions Developer you will have demonstrable knowledge of:

Machine learning and predictive modelling libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, OpenCV, Scikit-learn, PyTorch,  DL4j)Statistical techniques for data miningApplication development using appropriate programming language (e.g. Python, Java) and JavaScript libraries for web (TensorFlow.js, Brain.js)The development of database systems (SQL and NoSQL)Information and cyber security considerations for cloud services (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud)Unit testing, functional testing and testing frameworks

You will also hold skills in the following:

Strong Interpersonal skillsCommunication skillsStrong project management Ability to think critically to proactively identify and resolve problems
