About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, ambitious and accomplished leader to join Edge Hill University as Director of Marketing, Communications and Student Recruitment and make a significant impact. 

Working closely with senior leaders you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the University’s external engagement agenda, advancing our international reputation and engaging effectively with our community and stakeholders both regionally and nationally. Playing a key role in supporting the development of our portfolio and partnerships you will ensure that Edge Hill University delivers on its mission to ensure that those who are underrepresented in higher education are supported to thrive at our University.

About You

As Director of Marketing, Communications and Student Recruitment you will be a creative individual with a commitment to people development and collaborative leadership. 

You will have a track record of strategic management and leadership gained either in higher education or from other relevant sectors, and will have experience of developing successful, integrated strategies in at least one area within this remit.

With substantial experience of working in a complex organisation you will have demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills to build credibility quickly across our academic and professional structures. With the ability to innovate, underpinned by strong commercial acumen you will also be a strategic thinker, with a high degree of integrity and excellent judgement
