The Department for Health is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Bath Centre for Pain Research, at the University of Bath. 

About the role 

The Centre is leading an established multi-institutional consortium (CRIISP) that seeks to better understand how psychosocial mechanisms impact on chronic pain. The post is part of the Advanced Pain Discovery Platform (APDP), which is funded by UKRI and Versus Arthritis. You will be based in the Department of Health, working with the PI, Professor Edmund Keogh in Psychology, and will support the work led by Bath.

The role will help coordinate the consortium’s programme of work, supporting the PI and core team. The role will support the development and implementation of systems and processes for the project to ensure compliance with governance and regulations, and to successfully help the consortium deliver its goals. 

You will provide administrative support for the project and assist in project wide communications. This will include ensuring that the consortium’s research is visible and accessible, such as through the support of public engagement and impact activities, and maintaining the project website, blog, and social media outlets. You will also assist in project wide management of data, and support expenditure monitoring and reporting. It will require close working with colleagues across the consortium, acting as a point of contact for external partners and other stakeholders. 

This is a part-time (21.9 hours per week, 0.6 FTE) fixed term post with an expected end date of 30th June 2025.

About you A degree in a relevant related area or equivalent is a requirement, as is experience in providing administrative support. Strong communication skills.Have experience in a research administrator role, working collaboratively with multiple partners, and project planning. Knowledge of data management, financial management, public engagement and impact activities would also be an advantage.
