If yes, then you might be the perfect candidate for the AAPS CDT Centre Co-Ordinator role at the University of Bath.

The AAPS CDT is a Centre for Doctoral Training that provides a stimulating and supportive PhD training programme for postgraduate students who want to pioneer and shape the transition to clean, sustainable, and affordable mobility. The Centre is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and collaborates with a number of industrial and academic partners, including the IAAPS Institute at the University of Bath.

The IAAPS Institute is a world-leading centre of excellence that supports the transport industry in the transition to net zero. Established to foster engineering innovation through the collaboration of industry, enterprise and academia, IAAPS has over four decades of advanced propulsion expertise and world-class experimental facilities.

As the AAPS CDT Centre Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for:

Providing administrative support to the Centre Manager, the Co-Directors, and the academic staff involved in the CentreCo-ordinating the recruitment and admissions process for prospective studentsOrganising and facilitating the delivery of the training programme, including timetabling, booking venues, arranging speakers, and liaising with students and staffDelivering events and activities to enhance the student experience and the Centre’s profile, such as induction, workshops, seminars, conferences, and public engagementOrganising and facilitating activities and engagement between the Centre and the IAAPS InstituteDeveloping and maintaining effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, such as the EPSRC, the industry partners, the alumni, and the wider publicContributing to the Centre’s marketing and outreach strategy, including updating the website, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials
