Overview of the Role

Do you have expertise and experience in mammalian cell culture and drug testing?  

We are seeking a research technician to work on a project investigating novel treatments for human leukaemia. This is a collaborative project between Professor Graham Cook and Dr Fiona Errington-Mais from the Leeds Institute of Medical Research in the School of Medicine along with Dr Erica Wilson from the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology. 

The project involves the culture of established leukaemic cell lines and their treatment with drugs and drug combinations designed to kill leukaemias. 

You will have a background in biomedical research and expertise in mammalian cell culture and flow cytometry. You will join a team of researchers focussing on basic and applied cancer biology.
