Description :

Do you have the ability to creatively solve problems, translate high level strategy into meaningful action plans, and influence colleagues at all levels across the University?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with significant organisational skills to join us as an Executive Assistant, providing a high level of proactive business support to the Chief People Officer.

As a key colleague within the Department of People, Performance and Culture (PPC), you will need to be flexible, responsive, and diplomatic to meet the changing priorities and pressures this environment generates. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational business management for the Chief People Officer, as well as the Deputy Director of PPC and occasionally the PPC Leadership Team. To do this, you will need to act independently in your decision making, work within complex situations, and be able to negotiate across many levels.

We embrace flexibility and a hybrid culture of working; therefore, you will have the opportunity to combine working on campus and from home. Most on-campus days will be based at Lawress Hall on our Riseholme Campus, however there will also be occasions where you will need to work on the Brayford Campus as well. A free shuttle bus for staff operates between the campuses to make your commute as simple as possible.

If you would like further information or an informal discussion about this exciting opportunity, please contact Amanda Tait, Deputy Director of PPC, at ATait@lincoln.ac.uk.

In support of our commitment to developing colleagues by providing opportunities for internal movement and promotion, applications for this opportunity will only be accepted from people who are currently employed by the University of Lincoln. We actively encourage applications from all colleagues across the University with the relevant skills and experience.
