We are seeking a IT Procurement Coordinator to join our Digital, Data & Technology Group. 

About the role 

The University of Bath (UoB) is embarking on the next stage of its digital transformation journey. A key part of this is to transform the delivery of technology services. This work includes routine operations within DDaT, the Data Project, Digital Transformation Programme (DTP) and DDaT project portfolio. 

The IT Procurement Coordinator will provide administrative support to deliver the routine operations of the IT Procurement team supporting hardware and software activities. This will include receipt and issue of equipment, completion of paperwork and record-keeping.

You will handle software enquiries and address renewal activities, gaining responsibility with confidence, competence, and time in role. Forward planning to ensure timely activity will be required along with ensuring compliance of all activities with university policy and guidance.

This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) fixed term basis with an expected end date of 02 June 2025. 

You will be: Proficient in organising tasks effectively and adept in handling numerical data with precision and accuracy, ensuring inclusive approach and execution.Approaches work with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and thoroughness in all tasks performedSkilled in managing and navigating through tight deadlines and multiple workloads simultaneously, accommodating diverse perspectives and needs.Displays effective written and verbal communication skills, embracing diverse communication styles in all interactions.Demonstrates a nuanced approach in handling confidential and sensitive information, employing tact, discretion, and respect for diverse perspectives and backgrounds.Competent using Microsoft Office products (word, outlook, teams excel, PowerPoint).Is self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills.Able to work within a team, however also work independently when required.Have a passion for technology.
