Description :

Why do we need technical staff?

Technical staff have the skills and knowledge to bring technology to life, through practical support, training, advice and guidance. They ensure that anyone learning new techniques or mastering equipment can do so safely and successfully. Staff and students working on practical healthcare courses place an incredibly high value on the support, guidance, training, and advice that technical staff provide. Technical staff add genuine value to learning that lasts a lifetime.

Is this the job for you?

Would you like to use your skills, knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to support staff and students from diverse backgrounds working in healthcare with a wide range of techniques? Do you want to develop and grow our technical service, providing ever increasing opportunities to help students realise their professional potential? Do you enjoy using practical skills in an interactive and engaging way?

Why you will want to work with us

In Technical Services we work as a team and the staff all support each other, sharing advice and discussing topics that span the service. The tasks you work on will be as individual and different as the imagination of people you’re working with, and no two days will be quite the same. We are proud signatories of the Technician’s Commitment which aims to ensure visibility, recognition, career development and sustainability for technicians and we encourage professional registration.
