Optica Incubator on Wearable Dosimeters and Light Loggers: Performance, Miniaturization and Health Metrics

Wearable dosimeters and light loggers allow for the measurement and evaluation of personalized optical radiation. Over the past few years, there has been a surge of research and development on such devices for the purpose of supporting health and well-being, with a specific focus on optimal light exposure for circadian entrainment and myopia control. The focus of this Incubator is to advance the field by bringing together key players in this area of research and technological development.

It will explore the differences and similarities in needs across fields of research, including UV, spectral, and IR properties; directional properties; form factor; and storage & battery capacity.
