2024 WEIAC — 2024 Waco Eclipse International Astrophysics Conference

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will take place in the US, and Waco is very close to the center of the path of totality. This event is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to promote science in fields related to astrophysics. With its easy accessibility and historically excellent weather in April, we are delighted to announce the 2024 Waco Eclipse International Astrophysics Conference to be held April 4-8, 2024, at Baylor University, Waco, Texas, USA.

The conference will consist of a three-day (April 5-7) scientific meeting and one day devoted to public outreach and observation of the eclipse (April 8). The conference will address topics such as observations of the solar eclipse, understanding of solar physics and the Sun as a probe to stellar astrophysics and related topics, such as space plasma, planetary systems, dark matter, dark energy, extra-galactic surveys, and the universe.
