International Conference "Geometry, Differential Equations and Analysis" in memory of Aleksei Vasilyevich Pogorelov for his 100th birthday anniversary

The conference is dedicated to the 100th birthday anniversary of an outstanding mathematician A.V. Pogorelov. He is famous for proving rigidity of general (non-smooth) closed convex surfaces in spaces of constant curvature and rigidity of regular surfaces in Riemannian spaces; for solutions of Weil's, Minkowski's, and Hilbert's fourth problem. A.V. Pogorelov created a theory of elliptic Monge-Ampere equations and a non-linear theory of thin elastic shells.
