The reference design for the DUNE near detector complex now consists of 3 detector systems: a pixelated readout liquid argon TPC (LArTPC), a high-pressure gas TPC with an electromagnetic calorimeter, both in a 0.5T magnetic field, (MPD) and a fully active scintillator detector in a separate 0.6T magnetic field (3DST-S). Although the main focus of the meeting will be on the MPD, this will be an open workshop that will also address how the facility can be utilized to study physics beyond the neutrino SM and BSM topics in general, either using the proposed DUNE detectors or with dedicated special-purpose detectors. We encourage all physicists interested in this physics to attend and we will attempt to accommodate presentations that are outside the core DUNE program, but can take advantage of the facility and beam.
Topics: Neutrino oscillations, neutrino detectors, liquid argon and gas TPCs.
