Stochastic thermodynamics has revolutionized our understanding of far-from-equilibrium statistical physics over the last few decades, and continues to result in deep, powerful results ranging from fluctuation theorems over speed-limit theorems to thermodynamic uncertainty relations. With this new series of online workshops we aim to give a wide-ranging cross-section of the stochastic thermodynamics community a platform to present and discuss their current research.
We cordially invite you to the second Workshop on Stochastic Thermodynamics (WOST II). It will be hosted by the Santa Fe Institute, next May 17 - May 21, with a day of tutorials on May 13. This workshop will be held entirely online and is free to attend for everyone.
