Gordon Research Conference — Mammalian DNA Repair

Exposures to environmental and endogenous DNA damaging agents produce thousands to over a million DNA lesions and chemical modifications to the genome per cell every day. Perturbations in the cellular pathways that respond to DNA damage are linked to myriad human diseases across nearly every cell and organ type. Conversely, dysfunction in DNA damage responses presents new vulnerabilities that are being leveraged to selectively target tumors in a more efficacious and less toxic manner. This GRC will bring together researchers at all levels including principal investigators, lead scientists, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students from academia, government and industry, to share and discuss the latest cutting-edge research on mechanisms of genome maintenance and roles in human health.
