INTERNAL VACANCY

This vacancy is open to employees of the University of Nottingham only.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Trial Manager (Training Grade) within the Academic Unit in Stroke, Mental Health and Clinical Neurosciences. You will be based at the QMC, Nottingham University Hospitals and will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team coordinating multi-centre UK and international stroke trials. 

You will be a highly motivated and personable individual, who works well as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, as well using your own initiative. You will support the Senior Clinical Trial Manager with HR, staffing (to include staff recruitment and induction), trial governance and report writing. You will be responsible for overseeing site set up, site monitoring visits at clinical trial centres (remotely), co-ordinating trial close down procedures, follow-up visits and telephone calls for trials conducted by the Stroke Trials Team. You will be involved with several clinical trials and will be required to work with a team as well as independently. Travel within the UK will be required to conduct monitor visits and attend stroke conferences.⯠

You will be an RGN with post registration experience in clinical researchâ¯ORâ¯possess a first level degree in nursing or equivalent in psychology or a relevant healthcare profession. A management qualification would be desirable. You should have significant clinical trial experience, trial coordination and staff management experience.⯠

The post is offered on a part-time (21.75 hours per week), fixed-term contract until 30th September 2028.
