About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented colleague to join our small Faculty ESE team.  

As Faculty Senior ESE Officer you will be part of an integrated operational team with responsibility for the coordination, implementation and continuous improvement of operational processes and activities that support ESE activity.

You will support the successful delivery of a range of core activities, provide essential committee support and assist with projects and initiatives designed to continually improve the student experience.   This works involves liaising colleagues within the university, and students.

This will demand the development and application of specialist knowledge and involve mainly planning and coordinating activity.   You will work with limited direct supervision and therefore be required to use your initiative, take personal responsibility, think analytically and creatively to solve problems and use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships and work collaboratively with academic staff and professional services colleagues across the Faculty and in Central Departments to deliver innovative, high quality and compliant services.

About the team: The role will report to the Faculty ESE Manager and work closely with the Faculty Placements Manager. This role also involves close collaboration with the APVC ESE.

Your working hours will be 0.8 FTE (30 hours per week).
