Applications are invited for the role of Education and Student Experience Manager based in the Faculty of Science. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of higher education in science and to support the development of an excellent student experience.

About the role - The role holder will support the successful delivery of the education and student experience elements of the Faculty's Strategic Plan, contributing to the development of processes to continually improve the service provided to both students and staff.

You will use data and evidence related to student experience and inclusivity to identify opportunities to improve the student experience, working with the Head of ESE, the Faculty ESE team and academic leads in Schools. Excellent communication and relationship management skills will be crucial as you will collaborate with students, academics and professional services staff, proactively engaging all stakeholders.

About you- Along with a passion for exploring new ideas and innovative teaching and learning, applicants should have proven experience of building relationships with a range of stakeholders and be self-motivated to manage and deliver projects with minimal supervision. We are looking for candidates with excellent communication, IT, planning and negotiating skills, as well as an analytical approach to problem solving. An understanding of the higher education sector and the issues universities currently face is also desirable.
