INTERNAL VACANCY

This vacancy is open to employees of the University of Nottingham only. 


This role will support a funded NIHR Research for Patient Benefit study aimed at co-creating a Health Visitor–led intervention for mothers at risk of postnatal depression. The intervention integrates group exercise and behavioural activation approaches, with a focus on adaptability and individual tailoring. The postholder will work closely with the research team and contribute to key research activities, including evidence reviews and engagement with stakeholders, patients, and the public. They will also provide essential administrative and coordination support throughout the co-creation process. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders as part of a multidisciplinary team working at the University of Nottingham and collaborating with Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The role will involve supporting participant recruitment, data collection, and data analysis, as well as managing administrative processes such as informed consent and survey distribution during the evaluation phase.

The position is likely to appeal to candidates with a keen interest in maternal mental health, public health, health promotion and universal child and family health services. The ideal candidate would have a commitment to health research and an ability to engage creatively and productively with a range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals. The candidate will be required to work in conjunction with others in the research team in order to achieve the objectives and deadlines of the research project. 

The post-holder will join the School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
