You would be expected to lead the Trauma and Orthopaedic pathway on our newly validated BSc (Hons) Professional Practice and MSc Professional Practice.  Also there is an expectation that you will contribute to our pre-registration Nursing and AHP programmes. You must be a registered Nurse, be able to demonstrate evidence of on-going professional development and also hold at least a Master’s degree in a clinically relevant subject; ideally a PhD or EdD or working towards one, and demonstrate on-going personal and professional development and appropriate study associated with Trauma and/or Orthopaedics. You will be required to demonstrate clinical currency in Trauma and/or Orthopaedic Nursing. Applicants must also hold current registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (Part 1). Previous teaching in a Higher Education or supporting students in the clinical setting is desirable.
