Admissions Officer (0.6 FTE)

University College Utrecht (UCU) is looking for two all-round Admissions Officers.

Every year UCU receives almost a thousand applications of young people who want to study at the campus. About half of them will be interviewed. You make sure all application files are put through and that the interviews are planned. After the interviews you inform the candidates about the decisions of the Admissions Board and guide them in the process of enrolling at UCU. There are two admissions rounds a year, a smaller one in the fall and a big one in spring. 

The Admissions Office requires administrative diligence to ensure that all communication, applications and other received files are stored in an organized and confidential manner. UCU attracts many students from abroad. Students coming from outside Europe must apply for a Visa. You will help them in this process together with our Admissions Office colleagues at the UU and assure a timely registration of UCU's students. UCU is a small-scale college where workflows immediately tie into each other. That is why we are looking for a team player.  As Admissions Officer you are informed of all processes that take place in the Admissions Office. Additionally, you work closely with colleagues of adjacent work areas such as marketing, international office/exchange, recruitment, course registration and enrolment.
