Description :

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic anatomic veterinary pathologist to join our team of board-certified pathologists and investigation officers, based in the new School of Veterinary Medicine and our £11m purpose built state-of-the-art Veterinary Pathology Centre based in Guildford, Surrey.

You will be an MRCVS with FRCPath/ECVP/ACVP (anatomic pathology) and ideally have a particular interest in companion animal pathology. You will have excellent communication skills, an appetite for innovative data analysis techniques and be able to work well in a team. An interest in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and contributing to the School’s research portfolio is also essential.  You will be supported by a team of veterinary surgeons, board-certified pathologists, scientists and skilled technical staff.

In addition to providing gross and histopathological diagnostic pathology support to the veterinary community, you will also have the opportunity to work with experts from local world class veterinary practices, institutes and government agencies through our many collaborative partnerships.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self motivated individual to play a leading role in helping shape the University’s new veterinary education and research programmes and to further develop the area of companion animal diagnostic pathology.
