Space Planning Assistant (ES5120-18-388)

We are pleased to offer this placement year or graduate opportunity to enable University of Brighton building construction/ architectural design students to expand on their knowledge of space management in a complex environment.

You will predominantly assist the Space Management and Surveying teams in the design, planning, allocation and management of all space throughout the University.  More specifically, you will capture, challenge and interpret space change requirements, developing and implementing innovative space planning and interior design solutions to the estate and assisting the Surveyors team to deliver the projects required to support this, seeing your plans become a reality.

To succeed in the role, you will have a knowledge of effective adminsirative procedures, databases and spreadsheet packages and of design software such as CAD.  The ability to communicate in an understandable way with a particular ability to explain complex procedures and processes is essential, as is detailed and accurate presentation and finishing skills.
