We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organised Research Assistant to support the endeavours of the Lincoln Higher Education Research Institute and specifically to assist in the evaluation of the University of Lincoln's Access and Participation Plan Evaluation Project (APPEP).
 
The APPEP sets out how the University intends to sustain and improve access, success and progression among students from under-represented and disadvantaged groups. The successful candidate will work with the project’s Research Fellow to undertake and develop the APPEP. As an active part of the Agreement, the evaluation will enhance the effectiveness of the activities and will support the University in measuring and evidencing outcomes. Through a range of quantitative and qualitative methods the evaluation will also support the wider ambitions of the Access Agreement by providing key research in relation to the ambitions therein.
 
This post is based within the Lincoln Higher Education Research Institute at the University of Lincoln. The Institute provides a platform for excellent and useful research into higher education, developing expertise and impact through its work with researchers locally, nationally and internationally. The post holder will work with other higher education researchers and support other work across the Institute. This post offers an outstanding opportunity to gain valuable experience in evaluative research whilst developing your career in an environment that is academically stimulating.
