Projects Officer (N1707)

We are looking to appoint a positive, self-motivated and well-organised team player to join the ISS department.  This is an exceptional opportunity to work for Lancaster University, ranked in the UK Top 10 and one of the top universities in the world. The University is based just outside the beautiful city of Lancaster ideally located near to the Lake District.

The Project Officer will work closely with Programme Managers, Project Managers and the ISS Leadership Team to provide guidance and coordination on the management and reporting activities of IT projects and related ‘managed’ work across the University.  The post is pivotal to the operations of ISS, providing support for project managers, the ISS Leadership Team, and the university governance functions of IT projects. 

You will have experience of working in an IT projects environment whilst having the proven ability to drive process improvement and add value in all aspects of the role. You will need excellent organisational and communication skills, a courteous and professional manner together with an enthusiasm for working in a project and programme environment.
