About You

Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working on own initiative you will be well-organised and able to work flexibly to meet deadlines. You will have the communication skills needed to be both influential and persuasive to build effective relationships both within and outside the University. Knowledge and experience of academic administration and well-developed IT skills including managing databases will quickly making you an invaluable member of our team.

About the Role 

Liaising with external examiners on behalf of the University, providing advice and guidance, issuing written confirmation of appointments or extensions to office/duties and providing induction packs for new appointees to include the University’s Academic Regulations and External Examiners Handbook. You will be the main point of contact for internal and external enquiries concerning the external examiner system and provide accurate and clear advice.
