We are looking to appoint a Quality Administrative Officer based at our main Stoke-on-Trent campus. The post is part-time (0.5FTE) until February 2019 (maternity cover). Secondment opportunities will be considered.

The role holder will be responsible for the effective co-ordination of all aspects of quality assurance across a School or Schools of the university, and will facilitate adherence to academic award regulations, under the direction of the Director of Quality Enhancement and Standards and with support from the Associate Deans, Heads of Department and colleagues in the Quality Enhancement Service.

You will have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of quality assurance policies and procedures within UK higher education.  In addition, you will have effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels within an organisation and write a range of documents clearly, including committee minutes. A proven ability to effectively negotiate with, and influence, internal and external stakeholders is essential.
