We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader to work with our Functions and Delivered Catering team to organise, deliver, serve and collect a large number of buffets including associated crockery across all University sites. You will be required to order stock, set up crockery boxes for delivery with buffets, complete business sheets and organise staff to attend and serve at functions. You will also work with the Functions Management team to develop ideas for service improvement and will lead by example to promote excellent customer service within your team at all times.
The successful candidate will have supervisory experience gained within a similar catering environment, have excellent planning and organisational skills, have experience of ordering and managing stock and be customer focused.
Due to the frequency with which the successful candidate will drive between University sites a full, current driving licence is also essential for this role unless disability precludes this.
Hours of work are 36.25 per week, worked 5 days out of 7 to be arranged including early mornings late evenings and weekends. Flexibility will be required. Job share arrangements may be considered.
This post will be offered on a permanent basis for 32.6 weeks of the year and attracts a 20% allowance for hours worked at the weekend.
