We are looking for an enthusiastic team worker to join the School of Sociology and Social Policy, based at University Park. 

The REF Impact Officer will be responsible for supporting the development of a portfolio of impact case studies across the school of Sociology and Social Policy ahead of submission in November 2020. They will work closely with academic staff, REF and research and business development staff in the Faculty and wider University, and engage with external bodies to develop the evidence required for the case studies, and to draft the case study narratives. The role holder will also facilitate connections between case studies. In addition, the role holder will support the development of the School’s REF Environment statement. 

The post will require flexibility, dynamism, energy and initiative, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication skills, experience of managing projects against deadlines with an awareness of the current research excellence framework.

This is a part-time post (18 hours per week) available immediately on a fixed-term basis until 31 July 2020.
