As part of an ongoing major investment in the biological sciences, we are seeking an outstanding individual to join our Cell and Developmental Biology Research Theme in the Department of Biology and Biochemistry at The University of Bath (http://www.bath.ac.uk/bio-sci/research/cell-and-developmental-biology/).

We are especially interested in researchers whose work addresses disorders of the nervous system, stem cell biology, metabolic disease or cancer, but all fields of biomedical genetics will be considered

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Reader in Biomedical Genetics 

We seek an ambitious researcher in the field of biomedical genetics to contribute to maintaining and enhancing our international standing in biomedical sciences; preference will be given to candidates working with zebrafish (or medaka). 

You will be expected to have a first-class track record of research grant funding and publication and should have an established history of successful collaboration both within and outside of your current institution, commensurate with your career stage. You will be expected to develop and/or contribute to courses within our Biomedical Sciences undergraduate programme.
