You will be expected to primarily lead on managing key practice partnerships across our placement provision to ensure a high quality student experience in the practice placement setting, whilst supporting the continued development of practice placement capacity. As such you will be required to act as a central point of contact for students by email, phone, face to face for all matters relating to practice placements. You will be required to demonstrate relevant and current experience of supporting undergraduate students in clinical and educational settings. The School is currently embarking on re-designing its range of nursing programmes to align itself with the new NMC standards for education, and the post holder will be actively contributing to the design and approval of our new programmes.  Applicants must hold current registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (Part 1). Ideally you should hold a higher degree, and possess a first degree in a related subject. It is essential that the applicant has previous teaching experience in a Higher Education setting and holds a PGCE in Education.
