The School of Law at the University of Nottingham is a dynamic place for research, teaching and learning.  It is consistently ranked amongst the top law schools in the UK and is one of the leading centres for legal research in the world. The School was ranked 6th both in terms of research power and research intensity in the last Research Excellence Framework.

The School attracts some of the very best students from around the world to its excellent undergraduate, Masters and PhD programmes.  

Applications are invited from those who wish to be part of this intellectually engaging and collegial academic environment.  The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching at undergraduate level within one or more core subjects (Law of Contract, Land Law, Foundations of Tort and Law of Trusts); specialist optional teaching may also be available depending upon the successful candidates’ backgrounds and interests. The successful candidate will also be expected to publish internationally excellent research, and have the ability to secure research funding. The post holder will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.

This full-time post will be offered on a permanent contract available from 1 September 2019 or 1 January 2020. Job share arrangements may be considered.
