The creation of the new Foundation Studies Centre – Science, is a milestone in the development of the University of Lincoln and is based within the College of Science. The Centre’s focus is to provide Foundation Year programmes, in preparation for students to transition onto the major degree programmes offered by the College, within the Schools of Chemistry, Engineering, Life Sciences, Mathematics and Physics, Pharmacy and Medicine. We are therefore seeking talented scientists to contribute to the teaching of relevant elements of biology. A strong track record in developing and delivering innovative A level (FHEQ level 3) or equivalent curricula in Biology will be an advantage.
The successful applicant will report to the Director of Foundation Year Studies, Kerry Blagden, who is herself an experienced transition support practitioner, with extensive experience in the secondary and HE sectors.
