The University of Nottingham is looking to appoint a Librarian to join the Libraries Teaching and Learning Support Team.  

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience teaching information literacy skills, be familiar with pedagogy in the context of Higher Education, and be comfortable delivering training in both lecture and workshop settings. The role holder will be adept at working with students from foundation level to postgraduate researchers and working along a range of information literacy skills, from basic and advanced literature searching to critical appraisal to using reference management software. Experience delivering training online and developing web based information literacy support materials is also required.

Within this role you will be approachable, with excellent communication and presentation skills. You will also be a supportive and proactive team player, willing to work collaboratively on the development of teaching and learning support services and strategies, as well as contribute to the wider strategic objectives of the Library Department.

This is a permanent, part time (18 hours) position.
