Careers and Employability Adviser (Access and Participation) (EL1140A)

We have around 14,000 students and 1,600 members of staff in our academic community, which features more than 100 different nationalities across our three campuses in Lincoln, Riseholme and Holbeach.

The award winning Careers and Employability Team work in partnership with academic colleagues across all colleges to raise the profile and level of engagement with our service for both staff and students.  In addition to this we work closely with external organisations to create employment opportunities for both students and graduates. 

In an increasingly competitive graduate labour market, many of our students may lack the confidence or face real or perceived barriers to progression and fulfilling their ambitions.  This role will therefore focus on supporting students to overcome these challenges and increase their confidence, to raise their aspirations and therefore the employment outcomes of our students.

The post holder will need to engage directly with national graduate recruiters and employers locally and regionally to understand the challenges both for employers who are recruiting and for students who are accessing those opportunities. 

This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
