As part of our strategic business plan we are expanding the delivery of our healthcare course provision to meet the demands of the healthcare workforce in London and Berkshire.
We are seeking to recruit Lecturers/Senior Lecturers for the Nursing Associate course which is delivered from our Berkshire and Brentford campuses. The Senior Lecturer role will encompass programme leadership in Berkshire working closely with the London based Course Leader.
We are looking for lecturers who have a keen interest in contributing to the professional, academic, research and scholarly development of the college. In addition to delivering the nursing associate and other nursing courses, the role also requires practice visits to support students undertaking a pastoral role as personal tutor to a cohort of students.
You will deliver innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies that enhance student learning, as well as participating in necessary administrative responsibilities and quality assurance processes within the college. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, the teaching team and our support and technical staff.
Successful applicants without relevant teaching qualifications will join the UWL Academic Professional degree apprenticeship scheme.
