BCU Sport has a focus on student sport and wellbeing opportunities, and how these can be used to improve student experiences. Whether taking part in a casual yoga session, representing the university in your chosen sport or carrying out a placement with Warwickshire Cricket Club, BCU Sport strives to develop opportunities to make our student experience the best that it can be. The role As Sports Development Officer you will play a critical role in ensuring that students have access to a wide range of opportunities to take part in sport and physical activity. This role complements the other roles involved in the BCU Sport team. An understanding of how the sport and physical activity is delivered at a HE institution will be helpful, as will an appreciation of the power of sport and physical activity to support the student journey. Preferably, you will have a degree level qualification or higher and significant experience in the sport and physical activity sector. Previous experience of working in the Higher Education sector would also be desirable. Both posts are part time, the hours allocation is as follows: Post 1: 20 hours per week Post 2: 17 hours per week In your application, please make it clear which of the 2 posts you would be interested in.  Interviews for this position will be held week commencing 4th November 2019 - further details will be made available should you be shortlisted.
