Associate Demonstrator (Education) (ADE019)

There will be 2 interview dates which will be 2nd December and 9th December 2019. 

The School of Education has a diverse community of around 80 doctoral research students, many of whom have significant professional experience as educators. The School wishes to provide opportunities for doctoral students to contribute their knowledge and experience of education by assisting on our undergraduate programmes.  

The Associate Demonstrator is responsible for conducting or assisting in teaching sessions, under the direction of an identified member of academic staff.  This is a development opportunity to give the Associate Demonstrator the opportunity to gain valuable work experience where the post holder will not be expected to have the same level of knowledge and experience as would be expected from a substantive post holder. The post holder will be further supported by the university’s ‘framework for postgraduate students who teach’ and encouraged to achieve Associate Fellowship with the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).
