Due to the expansion of the Nursing Associate Programme, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the existing Nursing Associate teaching team as a committed and passionate Lecturer/Teaching Fellow. The two year Foundation Degree Nursing Associate programme was developed to support the introduction of a new nursing role and is a work based learning course aimed at experienced Health Care Assistants who want to develop themselves to become a Registered Nursing Associate (RNA). As a member of the Nursing Associate team, you will  support members of the team with the organisation and delivery of the range of modules on the Nursing Associate programme. You will work flexibly, contributing to innovative teaching, learning and assessment to support a high quality trainee experience. You will visit apprentices and students work areas to provide guidance to learners and the practice supervisors/ assessors. 

You will be required to demonstrate relevant and current experience of supporting undergraduate learners within clinical and educational settings. You must hold at least a first degree in a health related subject and demonstrate on-going personal and professional development and appropriate study around relevant subject matter. Applicants must also hold current registration with the NMC. Previous teaching experience in a higher education setting is desirable. If required, successful applicants will be fully funded and supported through our own teacher training apprenticeship, including full support for study attendance, and the allocation of a dedicated mentor to support you through the learning requirements. We have a strong record of supporting colleagues throughout their careers within higher education.
