Building on continuous success in student growth and in sustained advancement of research activities, the School has embarked on a programme of extensive expansion funded by substantial long-term investments.

The School is looking to appoint Visiting Lecturers in automotive, civil, electronic, and mechanical engineering as well as other topics allied to our current portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Opportunities exist for duties related to our transnational education activity. 

In applying for this vacancy you will be submitting your details to a Visiting Lecturer recruitment pool. Please note that Visiting Lecturer posts are part time, fixed term contracts for which a specific amount of hours work will be agreed between you and the Faculty. Visiting Lecturer posts are paid hourly and there are a range of pay rates dependant on the role.

As and when relevant teaching hours become available that your CV and experience are suitable for, you will be contacted by the Faculty directly to discuss in more detail.  Please be aware that you are not guaranteed to hear back from the Faculty. 

Recruitment pools will be closed at the end of September each year, at which point you will be contacted with an invite to resubmit your details for the following year’s recruitment pool if you would still like to be considered. If you do not reply your stored details will be destroyed in line with our Data Protection Policy

Please note that this role is not capable of visa sponsorship under Tier 2 of the points based system
