Executive Officer (1226920GN)

An opportunity has arisen for a Level 4 Executive Officer to support the delivery of strategic and operational services in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences. The role will be based in the Faculty Office and will include provision of high-level support to the Dean and senior colleagues, as well as oversight of a number of key processes. This position is part of the Faculty Operating Service and reports directly to the Associate Director of Faculty Operations.

The role requires a self-motivated and proactive individual to provide operational direction and management of a busy administrative workload.

The successful candidate will have:

A proven track record of providing high-level strategic support to senior managers, and providing management of operational, planning, and business-critical projects.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; personal agility, great time management skills and the ability to build strong credible relationships with a wide a variety of internal and external stakeholders.Experience of working collaboratively, coordinating resources and logistical requirements, and working within a team to provide an excellent service to all stakeholders.The ability to review and refine administrative processes, delivering innovative solutions to problems where appropriate.
