Executive officer (1198719GN-R)

An opportunity has arisen for a Level 4 Executive Officer to support the delivery of strategic and operational services in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences. The role will be based in the Zepler Institute and will include the leadership and management of administrative staff, supporting School priorities and managing the provision of high-level support to senior colleagues. This position is part of the Faculty Operating Service and reports directly to the Associate Director of Faculty Operations.

The role requires a self-motivated and proactive individual to provide operational direction and management of a busy administrative workload.

The successful candidate will have:

Experience of leading, managing and building administration teams, coordinating resources and logistical requirements, ensuring that the teams are providing effective support.

The ability to review and refine administrative processes, delivering innovative solutions to problems where appropriate.

A proven track record of providing high-level strategic support to senior managers, and providing management of operational, planning, and business-critical projects.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, great time management skills and the ability to build strong credible relationships with a wide a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
