The Faculty of Health Education and Life Sciences is looking to recruit a full time Course Administrator on a permanent basis. The post will be based within the School of Nursing and Midwifery. You will report directly into a team leader and work closely with other administrators and academics within the school.

The role

This role is ideal for someone who wants to positively contribute to the student experience at Birmingham City University and who is seeking a career in the exciting world of administration in Higher Education. Course Administrators are responsible for managing a portfolio of courses and modules (postgraduate and undergraduate) including delivering examination boards, maintaining student records, committee clerking and providing expert advice and support to students and colleagues across the student lifecycle.

The person

You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) coupled with proven administrative, IT and customer service experience within a complex environment. Experience in a student-facing role is desirable. Beyond that, your ability to act as a team player, demonstrate intellectual curiosity, to manage your workload and your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be what sets you apart.
